About PEsx
==========

PEsx is a shellextension for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0
that shows you which modules your application/DLL directly or indirectly depends on.

This is very usefull, in case you have several different versions of the "same" dll and
you do not exactly know which one just wastes your harddisk space.

It also helps you learn "whats going on under the hood".

INSTALLATION:

	If you currently use an older version, please uninstall it before continuing ( via control panel) 

	!! OPEN THE CONTEXTMENU OF THE FILE 'PESX.INF' 
	(RIGHT CLICK ON THE ICON) AND CHOOSE 'INSTALL' from the popupmenu !!

PESX is distributed as Shareware. It is fully functional but can only be used 50 times.

1 licence is 10$ = 10 DM = 100 ATS

Features
--------

	Supports both 32 bit ( Portable Executable) and 16 bit (New Executable) binaries
	allows to copy information to clipboard
	allows to copy dependent files to one directory



WARNING: 

	You need COMCTL32.DLL version 4.70 ( or greater), as shipped with
	Internet Explorer >= 3.0.

	I do not really know the reason, but I got several reports of malfunction,
	that where only reproducable using the older version of this DLL.
